How to Fix “Unable to Update the Minecraft Native Launcher” in Windows If this happens, it can result in further updates being unable to proceed properly. Occasionally, the installation or update process can introduce corrupted files.

When the new Minecraft Launcher was released for Windows 10 (after Microsoft purchased it from Mojang), many users noted a bug that prevented it from downloading the necessary files. I hope there is a way that I can still play minecraft without the launcher trying to update, because that is the fault right now I believe. There are several potential causes for this glitch. I hope that I can find a way to fix this, as it's one of the few games I play a lot to focus on something else. I really love minecraft and have been playing it for a very long time, it's a very comforting and creative environment for me. I can't update it, I can't open minecraft now (assuming to a force update) and even using an older version from the site for Windows 7/8 where it has no connection to the force update (so i believed) it is still asking me to. That being said, my computer is basically running its life out i'm assuming. It seemed to have completely voided and corrupted my service for windows updater as I can not find anything on it on my computer now for it, and no quick-fixes in admin cmd or going into services.msc to look through have fixed it.

I have no idea how or why, but it was something about the update for Windows 11 getting in the way when it crashed. It was casually a little slow because my computer had an issue in the past, that i'm greatly assuming is the victim of my current issue now. The other night I had been playing MC just fine, no issues on my end about opening it.
